Description : Ketorolac tromethamine ocular solution is an NSAID in the family of heterocyclic acetic acid derivatives, used as an analgesic, anti-pruritic and anti-inflammatory. Ketorolac acts by inhibiting the bodily synthesis of prostaglandins, thus relieves eye itching caused by seasonal allergies & is also used to reduce swelling, pain and burning or stinging after cataract surgery or corneal refractive. The ketorolac ophthalmic solution is associated with a decreased development of macular edema after cataract surgery. Ketorolac has also been used to manage pain from corneal abrasions.
