Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agnet that has fungicidal activity against superficial mycotic infections. Beclomethasone is a potent steriod that has anti-inflammatory, antipruitic and vasoconstrictive properties. Lignocaine is a topical anesthetic with a low index sensitization and toxicity. It helps reduce pain and stinging in the ears. Glycerine soothes and moisturizes the skin also softens cerumen due to its water-retaining and emollient properties.
